a 3x3 central staircase with a specialized kind of building in each deck. the rest of the fort starts from near the farm plot. this moat will protect the trade depot that is going to be the only part of the fort with outside access. Step 2 : build a magma moat that is going to take care of all sieges untill i finish the inner construction of the fort and traps, and drowning chambers. (this is going to be the outer fort, trade depot, future tavern, barracks and training for military, im also thinking about changing that up stair for one of those hatchlock i have read in this forum) Then from this depot a single corridor with a single stair up to a big room for generic stockpile, next to this room, a generic dormitory, a generic dinning hall and 2 or 3 big rooms for workshops and a little farm plot for plump helmets. so i do it in 3 stepsģ wide corridor to a trade depot, protected by a raising bridge so for sure there are better ideas and this is still a work in progress.
